Accreditations

CME
NACE is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. NACE CME activities are planned and implemented in accordance with the Essentials and Standards of the ACCME. Many NACE CME activities are also approved for Prescribed Credit by the American Academy of Family Physicians.

NACE staff are members of the Alliance for CME (ACME).

NACE is an approved provider of continuing education by the West Virginia Board of Examiners for Registered Professional Nurses (WVBRN), Provider Number WV2007-0507RN.

CE
NACE is approved by the American Psychological Association (APA) to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. NACE maintains responsibility for this program and its content.

NACE is recognized by the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) to offer continuing education for National Certified Counselors. We adhere to NBCC Continuing Education Guidelines. (Provider #6052)

NACE, provider #1086, is approved as a provider for social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) www.aswb.org, phone: 1-800-225-6880, through the Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. NACE maintains responsibility for the program. The following 27 states currently accept ACE approval: Alaska, Alberta, Canada; Arizona, Connecticut, DC, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Iowa, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, Virgin Islands, Washington, Wisconsin, Wyoming. Please check with your State Board to see if coursework from providers with the ASWB endorsement is accepted.

Florida: NACE is an approved provider of home study CE for the Florida Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy and Mental Health Counseling, Provider number BAP #687. (Exp. 3/31/2009).
Texas: NACE is an approved provider for the Texas State Board of Examiners of Marriage and Family Therapists.
California: NACE is approved by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences to offer Continuing Education to both MFT's and LCSW's,. Provider Number TCE2541.

These Continuing Education certifications are also honored by many state boards of Marriage and Family Counseling and Licensed Professional Counselors. Please check with your individual state board or call NACE at 1-866-266-6223
