It begins with a chapter on diagnosing ADHD in adults, followed by brief coverage of the physiological bases of the disorder and then a discussion of the myriad effects that ADHD can have on an adult’s life.
The bulk of the book explains in detail a four part integrative treatment model that includes education, medication, coaching, and therapy. Specifically meant for clinicians, this book takes the best of what the science tells us about ADHD, then mixes it with a healthy dose of clinical experience, to create a highly useful guide to working with this interesting and underserved population.
