This an intermedate level eithics courses for licensed Psychologists, Clinical Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists, and Mental Health Counselors. This course focuses on the law verses ethics, different types of ethics, reporting ethical violations, ethical issues specific to mental health professionals as well as the future directions of ethics in the mental health profession, including online counseling and coaching. Preventing Medical Errors 2 Credits NQ1600
This is an approved course by the Florida Department of Health. It is intended to satisfy the requirements imposed by the 2001 Florida State Legislature mandating a 2-hour course relating to the prevention of medical errors as part of the licensure and renewal process for mental health professionals.
